YS Jagan laid foundation stone for world’s first Integrated Renewable Energy Storage project in Kurnool

Kurnool: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that it is very proud to lay foundation stone for the Integrated Renewable Energy Storage project in Kurnool district, which is the first of its kind in the World.

He laid foundation stone for this project at Gummatam Thanda in Oorvakallu mandal in Kurnool district on Tuesday. CM Jagan inaugurated a 3D image of the project at Gummatam Thanda. Speaking on the occasion he said that this project is going to construction with an estimation cost Rs. 15K crores. This project is constructing by Green Co Energies Pvt. Ltd. This project will provide a huge employment to the youth; at the time of construction it will provide 15 K employments directly.

Later it will provide 3K jobs directly and another 5K jobs indirectly said CM. This project will generate 5, 410 Mega watt electricity and it will integrate with national grid PGCIL/ CTU electric substations to discoms and industries. AP State allocated 4, 766.28 acres land to this project and handed over 2, 800 to the company.

This integrated project will generate 3K mega watt electricity from solar panels and 550 mega watts from wind power and 1860 mega watt electricity from hydra power.
